Words Of Encouragement by LalaPrincesa93 Words Of Encouragement by LalaPrincesa93

When it comes to consoling teenagers, Clopin really knows how to give them a self-esteem boost.

After Esmeralda had conquered the art of dancing, she began her interest in singing at 16. She realized that singing wasn't exactly her best asset, (since her voice was a bit on the raspy side) and held herself in her room after being bullied by her girlfriends. She then complained to Clopin, who willingly offered to vocally coach her through the art of singing for her benefit in performing.
Esmeralda seldom uses her voice during performances, but she at least sounds decent while singing "God Help the Outcasts."

Esmeralda and Clopin belong to Disney/Victor Hugo

Hooray! How do you color your drawings? Do you do it all online or do you scan and paint using a computer based tool?

I color most of my drawings by hand (traditionally) with colored pencil. The only time I ever use a paint tool is to create effects or shadings, and I use a mini-version of photoshop to correct the noise level.

Oh wow! The colors are always so vivid, love your style and the characters are always so spot on!

Thank you! Yes I try to make my art look as "non-traditional" as I can, because in my opinion, it's always more appealing.

And spot on? Wow, after seeing Canadian Rainwater's work (which is amazing , if you haven't yet seen it!) I feel like mine is off a bit :P Nevertheless, I do try my best to resemble the characters to the way Disney animated them, even if I have my own style :)

Not a good singer? I disagree. Her ''God Help the Outcasts'' song speaks for itself, she has amazing vocals. :D
